When I am searching for the Saptha sthana Shiva temples in and around Mylapore, Chennai, it was learnt that these temple are very old may be more than 2000 years except Kapaleeswarar temple. As per Gurukkal of one of these temples the Kapaleeswarar temple is a latest one may be 500 years old, which is reconstructed  away from the original place.

On 28th October 2012, Sunday I had the darshan of all the temples in the order laid down in the saptha sthana Shiva Temples darshan. Even though it was a tedious journey by walk to cover all the seven temples, finally it was an enjoyable one.
