29,July 2014
After the accident ( break in one of the bone and angle joint dislocated ) on my right leg, well wishers advised me to go to Maakaral, the  7th Paadal petra shiva sthalam, of Thondai Nadu  near Kanchipuram. Even though had been to this temple twice and this is my third visit 0n 29th July 2014. After confirmation with the gurukkal ( Shanmuga Sundara Gurukkal 9444810396 )  of the temple reached the temple around 07.45 Hrs with a empty water bottle to get the abhisheka water. It was believed that the holy water will cure many deceases. Utilizing this opportunity had Lord Shiva’s dharshan at Thirumatraleeswarar and Thirukachi Aneka Thangavatham. SRI VEERAMATHI AMMAN ANNUAL FESTIVAL 2014

25,July 2014
This 2014, year’s Sri Veeramathi Amman’s annual festival was held on 23rd July. On 22nd my brother reminded me. So booked the ticket in ABT   for the onward and return journey. Since it was a working  day I could easily got the ticket. I reached Erode around 05.30 Hrs. After taking bath we could able to reach the temple at Thazhlkuni, Kolappalur, near Gobichettipalayam around 08.00 Hrs. It was too lateand we missed the abhishekam. After worshiping  our Kula theivam, went to native village Pappavalasu to see my mother.  After my mothers blessings returned to Chennai.
Sri Veeramathi Amman in Santhana Alangaram
Sri Veeramathi Amman, Sri Vinayagar ( Left ), Sri Subramaniyar and Amman's Simha vakanam with Palipeedam at the center.

Sri Karuppasamy our Kaval theivam
Cousin and my brothers are monitoring the temple's income expenses.
When I crossed Kolappalur near Gobichettipalayam, I noticed this old building with hand made tiled roof. This building was built during 1911, nearly 103 years ago. This was in memory of the British Kings pattabhishekam. ( In India there are some loyalists to Britishers. )
When I was waiting for the bus, I could notice 2 heads on a pedestal. I was told that this a Kaval theivam of this place Kolappalur.  ( Normally Kaval Theivam's will be at the end of the village ). The Kaval theivam's name is pottusamy. During festival for Pacchai Nayagi Amman, people used to worship this kaval theivam first and then Pacchai Amman.
