Some of the important details are as follows..
The temple is facing east with a nandhi on base of a platform of the old mandapam. The pillars of this muka mandapam is dumped on the north side of the temple. The sanctum sanctorum consists of sanctum, antarala and artha mandapam. Only the base of the Mukha mandapa is exists now.  Chandikeswarar is on the north side near komukha.

Yazhi vari is just above the kabotham. The pilasters are with 8 face Vishnu patha pillars, hanging mala, kumbam,  kalasam and podhigai. The vimana above the sanctum exists up to the first level.
