-8, 09-02-2016.
From
Pune around 13.00 Hrs boarded train no 17013 to Hyderabad and reached
around 04.30 Hrs. From there we continued our Yathra by bus and car to
Mantralayam without staying at Hyderabad and reached Mantralayam around 15.00.
Of course, it was a long journey of more than 24 hours by train and bus. On the
way, we stopped at one daba to prepare breakfast and Lunch. After rest and bath had the darshan of Sri Raghavendra and we were fortunate
to see the Gold, and silver Gaja (elephant) Ratha Urchavam of Sri Pragalath and
Unchal Seva.
SRI
RAGHAVENDRA SWAMY MOOLA BRINDAVANA
Sri
Raghavendra Swamy decides to go into Brindavan the village Manchalamma, where
he had done his yagnas in his previous birth as Pragalath, on the banks of
River Tungabhadra. And also asked his disciple Venkanna to bring the stone from
the Village of Madhavaram. Sri Ragavendra said that that was the stone, on which
Sri Rama sat before proceeding to Kishkinta. Also, the leftover
stone was made by Sri Anjaneyar and installed in front of his moola Brindavana (The stone used for the moola Brindavana was not the stone mentioned by Sri
Raghavendra).
The
Brindavana next to Moola Brindhavan constructed with the stone mentioned by Sri
Raghavendra is occupied by Sri Vadeendra Theertharu, who is poorwarama great
grand son of Sri Raghavendra.
Sri
Manchalamma Sannadhi is at the right side of the entrance and as per Sri
Raghavendra, Sri Manchalamma is to be worshiped before entering the Moola
Brindavana.
Outside the moola Brindavana Samadis of Sri Raghavendra mutt heads Via,
Sri Sujeendra Theetharu (1963 to 1986), Sri Suvarateendra Theertharu (1926 to
1933), Sri Sudharnendra Theertharu (1861 to 1872), Sri Sujameendra Theertharu
(1933 to 1967), Sri Sushameendra Teertharu (1985 to 2009) and Sri
Suyateendra Teertharu swamigal (2006 to 2014). Naagars are also kept under a
tree and Thulasi madam under the Vanni tree.
The
11th generation
of the Venkanna family is taking care of the temple rituals and Original Padukas
used by Sri Raghavendra also with them under Pooja.
During
our visit to Moola Brindavana renovation is in full swing and might witness a
new look during the next visit.

16.00 Hrs to 21.00 Hrs
Ratha
urchavam will start at 19.30 Hrs.

is served between 12.30 Hrs to 14.00 Hrs and 19.30 hrs to 21.30 hrs.

ReplyDeleteStone mentioned by rayuru was not taken first by venkanna, the brindavan constructed was left to vadeendrar. Right stone was again taken ,where lord rama sat and rayaru brindavan was constructed
