08, March 2015.
During my early morning walk on this Sunday, I thought of making a visit to Thiruvotriyur before the completion of mandala pooja after the kumbhabhishekam. My
original plan was to go by Train to Thiruvottiyur from Guindy. On the way, it suddenly struck me that the trains from Tambaram to Beach were cancelled due to maintenance work, which I
read in the news paper a day before. So I went by bus up to Central from
Guindy and from there by Train.
SRI THYAGARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE
Had the
darshan of Sri Adhipureswarar, Sri Thyagaraja, Sri Thiruvotreeswarar and Sri Vadivudai Ammbal. Last time I could not circumambulate Sri Adhipureeswarar due to
maintenance works. This time, I had a peaceful darshan.

Vadivudai Amman Temple
After dharshan
proceeded to Pattinathar temple by walk (nearly 2 km and while returning also).
Afterward, the Kumbabishekam temple was found to be very neat and clean. Still, work is in full
swing for the laying of granite stone for the praharam. Not much of a crowd. I had
the dharshan and meditated for a while.

While returning
from Pattinathar temple, I peeped inside a
Jeeva samadhi of Sri la Sri Veeraraghava Swamigal, who attained mukti during 1964. It is about 5
to 6 feet below ground level.

Returned to home
via Broadway and Guindy through bus. It was a tedious journey but I could
not feel much due to the blessings of Shiva
and Pattinathar.
