After
the darshan of Pandaripuram Sri Pandarinathar, instead of staying
at Pandaripuram we proceeded to Parali, the first Jyotirlinga Temple of our
list, as scheduled. Reached Parali and accommodated in Halge Garden
Lodge ( 9822634777) near the temple. Parali is in line with Kanyakumari and
Ujjain.

It
was 16.00 hrs when we entered the temple and observed that the temple was kept
open and the devotees are allowed to worship Lord Shiva from a distance and
place the offering on Shiva’s face kept at the artha mandapam. For about one
hour we recited thiruvasakam and devaram and Shiva namavali at the artha
mandapam. After 17.00 hrs we are allowed to do the sparsa seva- touch and pray.
