Reached Parali  and accommodated in Halge Garden Lodge ( 9822634777) near the temple. Parali is in line with Kanyakumari and Ujjain.

SRI VAIJNATH TEMPLE, PARLI.
It was 16.00 hrs when we entered the temple and observed that the temple was kept open and the devotees are allowed to worship Lord Shiva from a distance and place the offering on Shiva’s face kept at the artha mandapam. For about one hour we recited thiruvasakam and devaram and Shiva namavali at the artha mandapam. After 17.00 hrs we are allowed to do the sparsa seva- touch and pray.

Old Ghat – steps were built during 1108 CE. The maha mandapam is made of wood and 3 Nandhis are kept under a mandapam. Moolavar is of saligram  and very smooth and in a benevolent attitude.

In the front mandapam sannidhi for Veerabhadra, Kasi Viswanathar, Nagar and Lakshmi.

Sannadhi for Trayambakeshwar, Varuneswarar, Krishneswara, Kuberar  are in outer prakaram. The sannadhis of the other Jothir lingas are constructed out side the Temple premises.

This is the only place where Lord Shiva is with Parvati and hence this place is called as “ Anokhi Kashi”  equal status to kashi.
