The
Visit to this Aingolamalai Sri Runa Vimosana Vishnu also known as Kadantheetha
Perumal Temple on Aingolamalai, was a part of Shiva, Vishnu Temples, Pallava
& Chozha inscriptions stones and Heritage sites Visit near Keerapakkam in
Chengalpattu District on 18th February 2024. This temple was built
on the top of the Aingolamalai.

of the salient features of this temple are…
The
temple is on the top of the hill facing east with Garudan in front. Stucco
image of Maha Lakshmi, Maha Vishnu and Sai baba are on the top of the mandapam
entrance. Sri Runa Vimosana Vishnu, Sri Runa Vimosagi Maha Lakshmi, Sai Baba,
Venu Gopalan, Krishna as a Child in a cradle and Anjaneyar are in the
mandapam.
ARCHITECTURE
The
total complex was built with bricks and cement concrete. The Runa Vimosana
Perumal Temple is in the middle and Saibaba sannidhi is on the left side and Krishna
sannidhi is on the right side. All the three sannidhis are built in a row
facing East. The Maha Vishnu sannidhi is with a Eka tala vesara Vimanam. The Saibaba
Sannidhi is with cone style Vimanam similar to Shridi Saibaba temple.
LEGENDS
Some
of the specialties of this Hill temple are, special poojas will be conducted
to get rid of debts / loans, A parihara sthalam for Rahu and ketu, a temple
with two Saibaba vigrahas of one is in granite Stone, a separate sannidhi for
Sani Bhagwan, and Saibaba Temple on the Hill in Tamil Nadu.

City Buses Tambaram to Kandigai 55 D and 55K will stop at Keerapakkam Perumal
temple stop and from there Ingolamalai is about a KM.
The
temple is 6 KM from Rathinamangalam bus stop on Vandalur – Kelambakkam Road. 16
KM from Vandalur, 14.5 KM from Kelambakkam and 19 KM from Tambaram.
Nearest
Railway station is Vandalur.
