The
visit to this Sri Muthappa Swami and Sri Karuppasamy Temple was a part of “Hero
Stones and siddhars of Tiruvottiyur Visit”, on 11th September,
2022. This visit was mainly focused on
the Siddhar Jeeva Samadhi Temples of Tiruvottiyur.
While
searching for Hero Stones and Siddhars of Tiruvottiyur, I came across this
temple from the Google map. Initially I thought, Muthappar is a Hero, who holds
a sword in the right hand. Slowly I learnt that they are the three form of
Hindu deities in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Deities
: Sri Muthappar, Sri Karuppasamy & Prapanchanathar.
