Pattinathar Thirukoil at Thiruvotriyur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

I had the opportunity of visiting the Pattinathar Jeeva Samadhi at Thiruvotriyur on 30th December 2012. The new temple is under construction.  The old Shiva lingam is kept under a temporary roof. Even on Sunday evening happy to see large number of people gathered for worship. Some of the photos taken are uploaded in this post.

    Thank you. This week I will go to Thiruvottiyur as a part of covering 276 temples. I will try to visit PATTINATHAAR JEEVA SAMADHI. I already visited HIS birth place THIRUVENKADU.

    Thanks Mr Sukumar for the information and all the best. Kumbhabhishekam has been conducted recently and you can vist before completion of the mandala pooja to get the blessings of Pattinathar.
