Continuation post.

Our next destination was to Patteeswaram.
Even though the main entrance Rajagopuram is on the east side, devotees used to
enter through Durgai Amman Temple Rajagopuram and worships Durgai Amman first.
Devotees knows this temple as Durgai temple instead of Shiva Temple. Even
though I had been to this temple earlier, this time we spend more time to see
the architecture of the Temple, Pillars and reliefs. ( for the details of

This temple is also a hand work of Chozhas. The
Durgai Amman, Swarna Ganapathy, Shanmugar and Bhairavars are brought from
Chozhas Fort, Pazhayarai after their fall.
