This Ayyanar Panel and another idol are found at
Ergampatti. The Ayyanar Temple is facing North. In Ayyanar idol, Ayyanar is
sitting in Rajaleelasana with yogapatti. The yogapatti goes around Ayyanar’s
body and the raised left leg. Ayyanar holds a chendu in the right hand and the left
hand is resting on the left leg knee and hangs as Pallava hastam. His hair is
shown like prabhai and wears padra kundala in the elongated earlobes. Poorna
and Puskala are on both sides. Two Samaratharis are on the top of this Ayyanar
panel. The idol on the right side of the Ayyanar panel is yet to be identified.
