ARCHITECTURE

HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
About 450 years back Doddacharya of Chozha Simhapuram, who does services to Sri Yoga Narasimhar of Sholingur. Sri Doddacharya was the descendant of Dasarathi ( who is from Chennai – Nazarathpettai which was originally called as Dasarathi Pettai ), nephew of Sri Ramanujar.
The
temple was not very old as expected. A 4
Pillar mandapam form the artha mandapam. The pillars has the Nayak period donors
reliefs. Hence we may conclude that this temple may be existed before Nayak Period and mandapa was added by them, may be 300 to 400 years old.
TEMPLE TIMINGS:
The
opening of the temple is unpredicted and a Vishnu Archakar is doing pooja. May
be kept opened for about 1 hour between 07.00 hrs to 10.30 hrs.
HOW TO REACH.
The
Temple is on the Malayambakkam Road in continuation to Meppur Road, about 3 KM

About
500 meters from MSJM Matriculation School.
All the city buses from Chennai via Poonamallee
to Kanchipuram and Sriperumbudur stops at the Nazarathpettai bus stop, about 3
