The
visit to this Mahabharat-related site at Enipali, Savadipalayam, was a part of the “Shiva, Vishnu, Amman Temples and Heritage sites from Komarapalayam to Edappadi
Visit” – On 19th May 2024. Thanks
to ல மா செல்வராசு, one of my FB friends of
Komarapalayam for taking me to all these places.
On
the way to the Dolmen converted Shiva Temple, this place with Garudasthambam,
made us curious to explore. As per the locals, Pancha Pandavas, during their
exile, cooked food at this place. For drinking water, Beema created a Paali (
water source ) with his thanda. The Locals showed us the stones used to cook
food, the pali, footprints of Beema and the Horse. 6 small Stones are installed
and worshipped as Pancha Pandavas and Draupadi.
It was further told that on
Vaikunta Ekadasi day, Devotees in large numbers gathered at this place and offered Naivedyam to Pancha Pandavas of this temple.
