After
darshan of Sri Viswaroopa Anjaneyar at Nanganallur, went to this temple which
is on the way to my residence. There are many Vishnu temples at Nanganallur,
one of the townships developed in 20th century and occupied mainly
by the Brahmin Community.
Moolavar:
Sri Lakshmi Hayavadana Perumal.
Some
of the important features of this temple are..
The
temple is facing east with a small 3 tier Rajagopuram. Balipedam and
Dwajasthambam are in front of the sannidhi under the mukha mandapam.
In
the prakaram sannadhi for Vedantha Desikar, Chakkarathalwar, Andal, Anjaneyar,
Glass Room, Urchavars and Madapalli.
Sannadhi
is constructed with sanctum and artha mandapam. Jayan and Vijayan are the
dwarabalakars standing at the entrance of the sannadhi. Lakshmi is sitting on
the left lap of Hayavadana Perumal.
The
Temple is being managed by the Vedhantha sthapana Sabha a registered body on
the 2nd main road, of Nanganallur.
During
reopening of schools after summer students used throng this temple to get
blessings of Sri Haravadhana Perumal
TEMPLE TIMINGS:
The
temple will be kept opened between 06.45 Hrs to 11.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs to
21.00 hrs.
