Etti Vinayagar Temple at Padiri Village, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu.

This Etti Vinayagar Temple is on the way to Vandavasi From Melmaruvathur and the temple Village Padiri is about 2 KM off the main road. 

This temple is on the east side of the Village in the open field with a temple tank in front. The old moortham of Vinayagar and Sri Ganambigai are kept in a Vinayagar temple inside the village. Before brought here it was told that thieves tried to steal the stone  Idol and the Utsavar idol and they lost their eyesight and escaped after leaving the idols. The next day the villagers were found in the field near the temple and brought to the present place. The urchavar is now at Shiva Temple.

The villagers decided to construct a new shrine for the Etti Vinayagar in the same place and could not complete it for reasons that are not known.  Now the Villagers are trying to find out the reason and start the construction activities. We also Pray for Sri Etti Vinayagar to bless us to complete the mission. 

இன்று தரிசித்த.. பாதிரி எட்டி விநாயகர்.. இவர் இருந்த இடத்தில் இருந்து திருடர்கள் திருட முயன்று..கண் தெரியாமல் போக..மக்கள் மீண்டும் அவரை புது ஆலயத்தில் அமர முற்ச்சிக்கின்றனர்.. இவர் தான் தடைகளை அகற்றவேண்டும்...விநாயகரே அமரும் அய்யா...
