26th May
2019.
After the darshan of
Sri Periyanayagi Amman at Devikapuram, we started returning to Kanchipuram. We
tried our luck to see Sri Yoga Ramar temple at Nedungunam. But the temple was found
closed. We continued our travel to
Kanchipuram. Just 2 to 3 KM after Nedungunam happened to see these Hero Stones installed in the field on the left side
of the road. Of the three
Nadukarkal one was found half broken. The three Nadukarkal, Sati and Memorial stones belong to the 15th to 17th Century Vijayanagara Nayaka period.
