VADAPALANI - SRI MURUGAN TEMPLE
We went to Vadapalani Sri Murugan temple on Saturday 21st March 2015. Last week my wife reminded me to go to this temple after her knee pain was cured. So she wishes to thank Lord Sri  Murugan and offer salt and pepper.  We reached the temple a little late and there was not much crowd, even though it was a holiday. The sanctum was closed after milk abhishekam. Waited and had the darshan of Sri Lord Murugan. Tried to have the darshan at Mupperum Siddhar temple also, but to my bad luck, it was closed. Utilising this opportunity we also had the darshan of Sri Vengeeswarar. When we stayed at Ashok Nagar I visited this temple. At that time it was very small and renovations had not been carried out. 15 years passed. The Kumbhabhishekam was carried out recently and mandala pooja was also concluded. A lot of renovations have been carried out with Rajagopuram and additional sannadhis.
