The
visit to this Sri Muthappa Swami and Sri Karuppasamy Temple was a part of the “Hero
Stones and Siddhars of Tiruvottiyur Visit”, on 11th September 2022. This visit was mainly focused on
the Siddhar Jeeva Samadhi Temples of Tiruvottiyur.
While
searching for Hero Stones and Siddhars of Tiruvottiyur, I came across this
temple on Google Maps. Initially, I thought, Muthappar was a Hero, who held
a sword in his right hand. Slowly I learned that they are the three forms of
Hindu deities in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Deities
: Sri Muthappar, Sri Karuppasamy & Prapanchanathar.
