Continuation of the previous post-Sri Muruganatheeswarar Temple Mambakkam... 

From Mambakkam, turn to the left and proceed to Pudupakkam, about 4 km before Kelambakkam. Sri Anjaneyar is on a Hill, on the left side of the main road.

PUDUPAKKAM SRI VEERA ANJANEYAR TEMPLE

Some of the important features of this temple are...

Sarvasakthi Vinayagar Sannidhi is at the base of the hill. Stucco Periya Thiruvadi and Chinna Thiruvadi are at the beginning of the steps. The temple is on a small hill with about 100 steps neatly paved. Road facility is also available to climb up to the top of the hill in a vehicle.

Moolavar is of relief looking north. The sanctum was originally built with stone, and later new structures were added. Sannadhi of Sri Ramar, Seetha, and Lakshmana is at the front of Sri Anjaneyar.

Pudupakkam is about 4 km from Kelambakkam on the Kelambakkam to Vandalur Road
