Madras Kali Bari / மெட்ராஸ் காளி பாரி / அருள்மிகு காளியம்மன் திருக்கோயில், A Kali temple at Mambalam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

While searching the Google map, I came across this temple and the name made me curious to learn more about this temple.  Also one of the priests of a Mariamman temple of Mambalam advised me to Visit this temple.

Some of the important features of this temple are...
This temple is facing west with tall vimanas that look like north Indian architecture, with an entrance arch from the south. The main Sanctum is on the ground level. At the entrance sannidhi for Sri Ramakrishnar and on the right Sri Saradha Mata. In the prakara sannadhi for Durgai, Bhavanieswar and Bhavani nandan (Vinayagar)

SERVICES AND HOSPITALITY 
Annadhana Koodam is at the back, Mandapa and  Rooms, and Library are in front. Free eye camps are organized with eye hospitals every month. Free medical checks up also conducted regularly. The temple has a guest house to accommodate the outstation pilgrims at a nominal cost. Study and literature competitions are conducted for children.

Annadhanam is provided twice a day ie 09.00 hrs and 12.00 hrs. 

HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
The temple was started by the devotees of Bengal residing in Chennai in the year 1981 and maintained by them only.

POOJAS AND CELEBRATIONS
Apart from regular poojas, special poojas like Chandi Homam on every Amavasya day, Ashtami Homam, Kali Homam,  Maha Shivaratri, Bengali new year, Tamil New Year, Deepavali, Navaratri Golu Utsav are conducted.

TEMPLE TIMINGS:
The temple will be kept open between 05.45 Hrs to 12.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs to 21.00 hrs.
