HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
The temple was not very old as expected.  A 4 Pillar mandapam form the artha mandapam. The pillars has the Nayak period donors reliefs. Hence we may conclude that this temple may be existed before Nayak Period and mandapa was added by them, may be 300 to 400 years old.

The opening of the temple is unpredicted and a Vishnu Archakar is doing pooja. May be kept opened for about 1 hour between 07.00 hrs to 10.30 hrs.
