18th August 2017.
Nanganallur has got its name from Sri
Rajarajeswari as Nangai Nallur, which later changed to the present name of
Nanganallur. This Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple is on the 2nd
Main Road of Ram Nagar, a part of Nanganallur.
The temple faces east with a 3 tier
Rajagopuram. Sannidhis for Kothanda Ramar, Valli Devasena Subramaniar,
Anjaneyar and Navagrahas are in the mandapam.

darshan of Sri Siddhi Vinayagar during, one of the Sunday morning Abhishekam.

It is not in Ramnagar as given in above message. The temple is located in Nanganallur, 2nd Main road.
ReplyDeleteAlso the info above that, The locality name NangaiNallur was from SriRajarajeswari is also wrong.
The Rajarajewari Temple at TG Nagar was constructed only around 1975,but Nanganallur is existing much earlier.
Historically, what you said may be correct, but the people belief as legend is little different.
