The visit to these Hero Stones /Sati Stone/ Memorial Stones at Chinna Negamam was a part
of “Temples, Hero Stones, Memorial Stones, Hero Stambhas (Mala Koil) and
Heritage Sites Visit, around Pollachi”, on 31st January 2026 and 1st February 2026.

LOCATION : An exclusive temple of Zamin Memorial
in the
TITLE : Zamin Memorial Stones

DETAILS :
There are four idols and a memorial
stone installed in a temple without a roof. These four idols are Chinna
Negamam Zamins, who constructed the Chentraya Perumal Temple, which is about
500 meters away from this shrine. The idols are Kondama Nayakar, Muthammal,
Vellaveeayammal, and Muthuvallakondama Thelaiya Nayakar.

TITLE : Zamin Memorial Stone

DETAILS :
This Memorial stone is kept at the Sri
Selva Chenraya Perumal Temple praharam. Both Husband and his wife are in Anjali
hastham. It is said that these are the present Zamins (6th
generation), ancestors.
