Sri Anjaneyar Temple, Saidapet West, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

11th December 2016.
This temple is on Jayaram Street opposite the Sri Prasanna Venkata Narasimha Perumal Temple. The temple faces west with a stone structure, believed to built during the Nayaka Period, with reliefs on the stone pillars. The mandapam has the beautiful kodungai.


HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
From the style of construction, this temple was built during the 16th to 17th Century Vijayanagara period.
 




HOW TO REACH:
The temple is on Jayaram Street, West Saidapet.
The temple can be reached from the Guindy Bus Stand (2 km) and the Saidapet Bus Stand (1 km). Since this temple is not on the bus route, it may be reached by auto or taxi.
