LEGENDS
Yoga Anjaneyar is in Chaturbhujam with 4 hands holding Sangu and Chakra in the upper hands and lower hands with japa mala and yoga mudra. In one of the legends, Narasimhar had given the Sangu and Chakra to Anjaneyar to protect his devotees.  Even though Anjaneyar is one of the forms of Shri Shiva, ( some say son of  Shiva ), in Yoga Anjaneyar form he is considered as a form of Maha Vishnu. Hence Yoga Anjaneyar is a protector and grants boons to his devotees. Devotees perform Yoga Anjaneyar Homam to invoke his blessings for protection and prosperity.
