HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
The temple is believed to be 700 years old. But there is no evidence found to prove the same. The present structure may belong to the 17th to 18th centuries.

The temple is in a bad shape and needs renovations and paintings to be done. It is learned from the villagers that part of the temple land was encroached upon and misused.
