This
temple visit is not scheduled for our Pulicat trip. Since the temple is on
the way to the Thamaraipakkam check dam from Red Hills, our group also visited this
temple.
The
temple was constructed and run by the Chinmaya Mission. This temple is
constructed in a unique style of Linga shape. The ground floor is used as a Yaga
salai, and Shiva is installed on the first floor with steps to climb. Inside the
sanctum hall is also used for meditation. Vibration may be felt while
chanting OM. The location is kept neat and tidy with a green cover.
Chinmaya Mission also runs a dispensary for the local poor villagers, free of
cost.

The temple will be kept open from 06.30 hrs to 12.00 hrs and from 16.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs

TO REACH:
This
temple is on the main road from Red Hills to Periyapalayam through
Thamaraipakkam.
