Being
a second Saturday on 11th March 2017, thought of visiting
the Ashok Nagar Temples. When I was in Ashok Nagar visited this temple
many times. Since this temple is are about 10 KM from my residence at
west Velachery went through my scooter. Many celebrities from film
industry used to visit this temple.

Some
of the important features of this temple are..
The
temple is facing east with a sanctum and a front meta colour sheet mandapam.
There are sannadhis for Vinayagar, Bharatha Matha and Gomatha with her calf.
Kumbhabhishekam
was performed during 2000 and 2012. The temple might have constructed during
formation of Ashok Nagar.
The
Anjaneya bhaktha Group is doing many social services, which includes running
Gurukula school, Blood Donation, Annathanam, Issuing of Books, Notebooks,
Uniforms for school children, Yoga, Sewing machine classes for Ladies,
Medical camps, etc.
