Sri Annai Akilandeswari Amman Temple / அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீ அன்னை அகிலாண்டேஸ்வரி ஆலயம், Velachery, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

I used to travel to my office through the Draupathi Amman Koil street and thought the temple at the beginning of the street may be of Draupathi Amman. While searching for Draupathi Amman Temple, I realized that this temple is dedicated to Sri Akilandeswari Amman.


Main deity: Sri Akilandeswari.

Some of the important features of this temple are...
The temple faces east with balipeedam, and Vahana Simham is in the mandapam. Sri Vinayagar and Subramaniyar are at the entrance of the sanctum. Amman is in a sitting posture. Navagrahas are in the mandapam, and Nagars are under the peepal / Bodhi tree.

HISTORY 
The temple may be 50 years old and was reconstructed 5 years ago.

TEMPLE TIMINGS:
The temple will be kept open from 06.30 hrs to 08.00 hrs and from 18.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs.

HOW TO REACH:
The temple is at the beginning of Draupadi Amman Koil Street from a 100-foot bypass road.
Town buses pass through a 100-foot road and get down at the Erikarai Bus stop, a walkable distance from there.
