After the Nayanmars, there exists Veera Saivam, a branch of Saiva in which Veerabhadra, an another form of lord Shiva  is worshiped as main deity. This temple is at the entrance of Bus stand. The sanctum sanctorum consists of sanctum, artha mandapam and a mukha mandapam. Navagrahas are in the mukha mandapam. Dwarapalakas ( Not the regular ) are at the entrance of artha mandapam.

From the reliefs it is believed that the front mandapam was built during Vijayanagara period.
