After the Nayanmars, there exists Veera Saivam, a branch of Saiva in which Veerabhadra, another form of Shri Shiva  is worshiped as the main deity. This temple is at the entrance of the Bus stand. The sanctum sanctorum consists of a sanctum, an artha mandapam, and a mukha mandapam. Navagrahas are in the mukha mandapam. Dwarapalakas ( Not the regular ) is at the entrance of the artha mandapam.

From the reliefs, it is believed that the front mandapam was built during the Vijayanagara period.
