The
Visit to this Pallava period inscription stone connected to Jainism was a part
of Shiva, Vishnu Temples, Pallava & Chozha inscription stones and Heritage
sites Visit near Keerapakkam in Chengalpattu District on 18th February
2024.
This
inscription stone was erected by a Merchant / Traders Army Group, for the construction of Jain
Temple at Keerapakkam. The inscription stone consists of Merchant Group symbols
in the form of bas-reliefs and
inscriptions. The bas reliefs are on the upper part and Inscription is on the
lower part of the inscription Stone. The symbols/bas relief consists of a Horse
rider, Horse, Aruva, Poorna Kumbha, lamps, and other articles, which are meant
for sale. Some of the Jainism Symbols are also found on the boulder near this
inscription stone.
Both
the constructed temple and the Yapnaiyasangha, a sect of Jainism, are extinct
now.
This
the 9th to 10th century CE, Sanskrit – Grantha
inscription on a slab stone at
Keerapakkam Village. The inscription records the construction of the
Desavallabha - Jīnālaya to the north of Kıraippākam by Amaramudalaguru, a
disciple of Mahaviraguru of the Yapanīyasangha and the Kumili - gaņa, who also
made provision for feeding the members of the sangha.

Sadhu or Sadvi to sit to correct position. Its called as Samagya chakra,
