The
visit to this Tirthankara at Sirumadurai, in Kallakurichi District, was a part of the 105th
Ahimsa walk organized by the Tamil Samanars, on 06th April 2025.
This
Tirthankara is kept in a dilapidated bajanai madam at Sirumadurai, and debris is covered up to chest level. The debris is cleared by Mr. Dhanajayan up to the base level and cleaned with water. Poojas are also performed to the Tirthankara.
The
Tirthankara is in ardha pariyangasana/ ardha padmasana sitting posture. A
mukkudai with ashoka creepers is shown on the top of the sculpture.
Samaratharis are shown on both sides. A halo on the back of his head and a
tindu on the back of his hip are also shown.

The Bajanai Madam is in front of the Sri Santhana Gopalan Temple. The Bajanai Madam is 5.6
km from Thiruvennainallaur, one of the Thevara Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam, 17
km from Viluppuram, and 21 km from Tirukoilur/ Thirukoilure.
The
nearest Railway Station is Viluppuram.
