The visit
to this boat ride through Vadakkeveettil Boat Club & Resorts, Viraly,
Kulathoor, Kerala was a part of the Malai Nadu Divya Desam visit from 10th
to 14th June 2025, organized by Mantra Yatra (website). Thanks to Mr. Balaji Davey and
his team of Mantra Yatra for the excellent arrangement and personal care.
There
are a number of Boat companies operating boat services on the Neyyar River. And
this Vadakkuveettil is one of them. Vadakkeveettil Boat Club & Resorts operates boat rides on the Neyyar River up to the point where the river
confluences with the Sea.
The elephant rock- Sea and the river
The
Boat ride takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes and passes through the natural
mangrove forest, different kinds of water-living birds, varieties of trees,
floating houses, British period monuments, etc.
