SRI AGASTHEESWARAR TEMPLE
From Kailasakona Water falls our route will
be straight to Narayanavanam Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple. It was
learnt that Sri Agastheeswarar was worshiped by Sri Padmavathi Thayar’s father
and mother, which is about a KM off the main road. We five of our friends
diverted the route and had the darshan of Sri Agastheeswarar also.

The temple is facing east with a dwajasthambam, balipeedam
and Rishabam. Moolavar is facing east. The entrance to the sanctum sanctorum is
from west.
In the outer prakaram sannadhi for Chandikeswarar,
Bairavar, Suryan, Nagars and Thundi Vinayagar.
Ambal sannadhi is facing east direction on the
right side of moolavar sanctum. In front of Amman sannadhi for Kasi Viswanathar
& Visalakshi, Murugan, Chandikeswarar and Saptamatrikas.
It was told that the Shiva Linga was installed and
worshiped by Agathiyar. As per Gurukkal Akasa maharaja father of Sri Padmavathi Thayar, built this temple. Now the temple is under the control of Tirumala
Tirupati Devasthanam.
TEMPLE TIMINGS:
The temple will be kept open between 08.00 hrs -
12.00 Hrs and 16.00 Hrs to 19.00 Hrs
