Sri Agastheeswarar Temple, Narayanavanam, Andhra Pradesh – Tirupati Padayatra 2017.

SRI AGASTHEESWARAR TEMPLE
From Kailasakona Waterfalls, our route will be straight to Narayanavanam Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, about a kilometer off the main road. We learned that Sri Agastheeswarar was worshiped by Sri Padmavathi Thayar’s father and mother. Five of our friends diverted the route and also had the darshan of Sri Agastheeswarar.

Consort      : Sri Maragatha valliammai.

Some of the important features of this temple are ...
The temple faces east with a dwajasthambam, balipeedam, and Rishabam. Moolavar is facing east. The entrance to the sanctum sanctorum is from the west.

In the outer praharam sannadhi for Chandikeswarar, Bairavar, Suryan, Nagars, and Thundi Vinayagar.

Ambal sannadhi is facing east direction on the right side of Moolavar Sanctum. In front of Amman sannadhi for Kasi Viswanathar & Visalakshi, Murugan, Chandikeswarar, and Saptamatrikas.

It was said that the Shiva Linga was installed and worshiped by Agasthiyar. As per Gurukkal Akasa maharaja father of Sri Padmavathi Thayar, built this temple. Now the temple is under the control of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.

TEMPLE TIMINGS:
The temple will be kept open between 08.00 hrs - 12.00 Hrs and 16.00 Hrs to 19.00 Hrs
