After the darshan of Sri Avanakshamma joined our group for the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Narayanavanam.

Some of the important features of this temple are ...

The temple faces east with a 7-tier Rajagopuram. Dwajasthambam, balipeedam, and Garudalwar sannadhi are immediately after the Rajagopuram.

In the outer prakaram Sannadhi for Varadharaja Swamy, Padmavathi Thayar and Andal.

This is one of the few temples where Sri Venkatesa Perumal with Sri Padmavathi Thayar in the same temple premises.

As per the legend the temple was built by the Son of Akasa Raja and brother of Sri Padmavathi Thayar. Sri Agastheeswarar Temple and Avanakshamma Temple are sub-temples of this main temple. The temple is under the control of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam ( TTD)

The temple will be kept open between 06.30 hrs to 20.00 Hrs without a lunch break

HOW TO REACH :

The Narayanavanam is about 6 KM from Puttur Railway Station

Andhra Pradesh Local buses to Tirupati pass through the temple.

A lot of Share autos are available from Puttur.
