The Visit to this temple was a part of the Pallava and Chozha Period Temples scheduled on 01st December 2019.  After Vasavasamudram, Parameswara Mangalam Sri Kailasanathar Temple, on the way to Kinar we went to this temple on the southern banks of River Palar, which is dilapidated.

Consort    : Thirupurasundari

Some of the important details are ...
Even though the temple is dilapidated, the Lord Shiva is under worship. The temple is facing  east. The 3-tier Rajagopuram built with brick is on the south side. The rajagopuram is in slanting condition and may collapse in a few years. The compound wall is missing.

ARCHITECTURE
The temple was built with a sanctum sanctorum, antarala, and artha mandapam. The sanctum sanctorum is on a simple pada banda adhisthana with padma upanam. Only Durgai is in koshtam. Other deities are Vinayagar and Bhairavar. Between the pilasters, Kumbha Pancharam is beautifully chiseled. There is no Vimana over the sanctum.
