The prehistoric peoples' arrow sharpening place, at Ganeshapuram a part of Karukkampalayam, 3 KM away from Sri Sevalapuri Amman Temple. This is associated with the sthala purana of Sevalapuri Amman this temple. Local people believe that these shallow pits are due to the Sevalapuri  Amman kneeling down and playing here and these are the markings of Amman’s knees.
