The
visit to these Thai Nadukals, at Kangayapalayam and Semba Gounden Palayam was
a part of Heritage visit to the temples, heritage sites and Hero stones from
Vijayamangalam to Avinashi, on 07th August 2021. These two Nadukals
are little different from the Thai Nadukals available at Kunnathur and
Malayapalayam. The real purpose of erecting this Thai Nadukal are not known.
The experts are with different opinions.
Thai Nadukal at Kangayampalayam, Tirupur District In
the Thai Nadukal at Kangayampalayam, the mother is in sitting in Sukhasana posture
holding the baby in the right hand, keeping right leg on the ground. Cattle Cow
/ buffalo are shown on both sides. A big tuft is shown on her right side. She
wears ornaments in her elongated earlobes and around the neck.

Thai Nadukal at Semba Gounden Palayam near Avinashi. In
this Thai Nadukal at Semba Gounden Palayam, the mother is in sitting in posture
holding the baby in the left hand, keeping both legs on the ground. Cattle Cow / buffalos are shown on both sides of her
legs. A big tuft is shown on her left side. She wears ornaments in her
elongated earlobes and around the neck.
