This
visit to Sri Munuswamy Ayya Jeeva Samadhi Temple was a part of “Siddhar’s Jeeva
Samadhis and Vinayagar Temples Visit” in Alandur, and St Thomas Mount areas.
This Jeeva Samadhi is on the right side of Sri Mangaliamman Temple’s Sanctum
Sanctorum, facing, east.
Sri
Muswamy Ayya is believed to be a 140-year-old Siddhar, who did many miracles.
The full details of this Siddhar is not known. Sri Munuswamy Ayya’s guru pooja
will be conducted on 16th November ( 1st of Karthigai
month ). Curd is offered to crows, as a pariharam to get rid of all problems in
life.

TO REACH
Munuswamy
Ayya Jeeva Samadhi Temple is from Kathipara Bridge after Butt Road, on Magazine
Road, (which goes around St Thomas Mount). There are two Mangaliamman Koil. One
is on the left side of Magazine Road & the other is on the right side of
Magazine Road, about 100 meters off Magazine Road. Jeeva Samadhi of Munuswamy Ayya
is at the Mangaliamman Koil on the right side of Magazine Road.
