To my inquiry about some old temples near my stay in Bhopal, the locals directed me to the Gayathri temple and a Hanuman Temple.

Gayatri Temple, situated in Maharana Pratap Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple was constructed in 1983. The temple offers a tranquil environment for visitors to connect with their inner selves and feel the powerful aura. Additionally, the temple features a Gaushala, book counters, milk and ghee outlets, healthy juice centres, and an acupuncture walkway with three variations.
