The
visit to this Stupa No. 2, Sanchi, in Madhya Pradesh, one of the UNESCO monuments, was a part of “Magnificent
Madhya Pradesh Yatra - Bhopal / Indore / Mandu / Maheswar / Ujjain”, from Nov

STUPA No.2 -(SECOND CENTURY B.C.)
The relics of the Buddha's two chief
disciples were found in the ruins of Stupa No. 2 at Satdhara (six and a half
miles west of Sanchi), which measured about forty feet in diameter and was
smaller than the Great Stupa No. 1.
