The
visit to this Mahakal Lok, at Ujjain, in Madhya Pradesh, was a part of “Magnificent
Madhya Pradesh Yatra - Bhopal / Indore / Mandu / Maheswar / Ujjain”, from Nov
23 to Nov 29, 2025, organised by Mantra Yathra. Thanks to Mr Balaji

The
Mahakal Lok Corridor is on the banks of Rudra Sagar. The length of the corridor
is about 900 meters. The corridor is a living canvas, adorned with 192 statues,
53 murals, and 108 sthambas, all narrating stories associated with the Stories,
Puranas, Epics, and Legends associated with Hinduism.
Lighting
will be switched on after sunset, which will offer a visual feast for
devotees and art enthusiasts alike. 108 ornate sandstone columns, each crowned
with the divine 'Trishul' design and etched with various 'mudras' of Lord
Shiva.
Some
of the images are Shri Mahadev, Maha Lakshmi, Krishna, Shiva as Gangadhara, Bharat
Matha Temple, Manibhadra, Samudra Mandhan, the story of Shri Neelakandeswar,
Ravana Lifting Mount Kailash, Veer Kandobha, Chandrasekar Mahadev, Vivah
Parsang Shivlila Swaroop, Kaal Bhairav, Navagraha mandal, Ganapati, Triveni
Mandapam, Gaja Samharar, Pancha mukha Hanuman, Sarabeswar, Rishabanthigar, Shiva
Lila mural paintings, etc.

Mahakal Lok corridor will be kept open to the visitors from 06.00 hrs to 22
hrs.
