Some
of the important features of this temple are...
The
temple faces east with a 3-tier Rajagopuram. Immediately after the Rajagopuram, a
mandapam and Padmavathi Thayar. Only an entrance arch in front of the Perumal Sannadhi.
On
the right side of the Thayar Sannidhi is Srinivasa Perumal Sannadhi. Palipedam, Dwajasthambam, and Garudalwar are in front.
Sannadhi for Andal, Ramar, Hanuman, Madapalli, and Vahana mandapam are in the
outer prakaram. Moolavar is with his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi.
It
was said that the sages like Sthuthi, Vishwamitra, and Gowthamar worshiped
Srinivasa Perumal of this temple. This temple is about 600 years old. Important
utsavas like Brahmotsavam, Pavithrotsavam, and Tamil New Year's Day are celebrated
in a grand manner.

The
temple will be kept open from 06.30 hrs to 11.00 hrs and from 16.30 hrs to
20.30 hrs.

The
temple is on the LNP Koil Street, Egmore.
On
Town bus routes 17,27B, 27E, and 127B, get off at Baby Hospital, and the temple
is about 200 meters distance.
