Some
of the important features of this temple are...
The
temple is facing east with a 3 tier Rajagopuram. Immediately after the Rajagopuram a
mandapam and Padmavathi Thayar. Only an entrance arch in front of Perumal Sannadhi.
On
the right side of the Thayar Sannidhi is Srinivasa Perumal Sannadhi. Palipedam, Dwajasthambam, and Garudalwar are in front.
Sannadhi for Andal, Ramar, Hanuman, Madapalli and Vahana mandapam are in the
outer prakaram. Moolavar is with his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi.
It
was said that the sages like Sthuthi, Vishwamitra, and Gowthamar worshiped
Srinivasa Perumal of this temple. This temple is about 600 years old. Important
utsavas like Brahmotsavam, Pavithrotsavam, and Tamil New Year's Day are celebrated
in a grand manner.

temple will be kept open between 06.30 Hrs to 11.00 hrs and 16.30 hrs to
20.30 hrs.

The
temple is on the LNP Koil Street Egmore.
On
Town bus routes 17,27B, 27E and 127B get down at Baby Hospital and the temple
is about 200 meters distance.
