Sri Chandrasekara Temple, Hampi Ruins, hampi, Karnataka.

…. A Continuation post to Octagonal Water Pavilion
19th June 2017.
This east facing  16th ( some body claims it is 15th century ) century Chandrasekara was built very near to Queens bath.  This temple was dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The sanctum sanctorum consists of sanctum, antarala, sabamandapa and mukha mandapa. This temple has a prakara and Rajagopuram is on the east side. The Vimanam over the sanctum was built in Dravidian style with three tiers using bricks and mortar. The sabamandpa has two entrances and the  pillars has the reliefs of saivate  deities.
